The lesson with bronze bushings is basically: the they wear out and any slop will result in lash. But they are cheap and easy to replace. I’ve ordered some self lubricating graphite ones to see if they last longer. @Eclsnowman , you should look into @David_Moorhouse 's cable bot design before going full Cartesian, would require some fairly minor changes compared to Cartesian and should be easier to balance than core xy.
