I finished building my ooznest OX and I made my first “run”.
As you can see in the video, the machine makes a strange noise… at least, to me it seems strange.
Any advice on this?

Which noise are you referring to? The poping sound or the robot noises?

But I’m happy if you say that all the sounds you ear are ok…
Do a pen test and see if drawing comes out fine. I have a file that draws 1", 2" and 4" circles and squares. Then another that does triangles and diagonal lines. If lines are smooth and measurements are correct it’s good.
That’s a lot of new bearings/rollers. I think the clicking sound is all the new and clean parts rubbing together. But that’s a guess. None of my builds had that sound, but yours is a lot beefier!
Running some test should tell you if you have anything binding and causing missed steps.
Thankyou! I’ll try the pen test as soon as possible, meanwhile I made some test cuts and the noise seems reduced.
