I found some time today to update the GPIO JSON Server. The code is much more solid now, and it also supports PWM on both the BBB and Raspberry Pi. I have also modified the widget a little to provide a drop down box for pin selection (thus avoiding any confusion about what to name a pin).

Raspberry Pi GPIO requires installation of Pi Blaster.

I also put together this little video to give you a quick run through of setup and usage. In the video I turn on and off my shopvac on Pin 27 and set the brightness of my LEDs using a PWM output pin.

Binaries for Raspberry Pi and BBB are now available in the github repo and from the download link in the GPIO widget.

This is so slick Ben. Seriously. I never even thought of adding GPIO to the Serial Port JSON Server. I can’t wait to try this myself. I have a nice relay board and some solid state relays as well I could use.

i have already a relay board 3,3V and a contactor but i have to take some time to connect my Spindle to try it:)i hope this week!
