I got 5 ws2811 floodlights from AliExpress (Ray wu) and it appears 3/5 are faulty.

Has anyone here used these before?

I have done more testing. The Arduino nano I’ve been using as a test device works with other WS2811 strips but not with these.

Adding 120 ohm resistor in series with data made flickering worse. Adding 100nF capacitor in series with data line fixed it.

3/5 of the floodlights must just require a cleaner signal.

Thanks for the heads up and we’ll five for fixing it. I’m thinking about getting some of these…
