I got inspired when I saw Max Verstappen driving the Redbull RB7 F1 car on a snowy mountain yesterday. They used snowchains and so I asked @Thomas_Palm if he could make a tire with a similar tire “pattern” as those chains. And so he did.
Now all I need is 2 more tires and 4 low profile rims. =)
I’ve put pins sticking out of standard RC tyres to make studded tyres and had a lot of fun on ice! I wonder if these will dig into the snow enough to keep moving?
FYI on snow/ice everything gets very very wet! My other RC car has a cover over the electronics and motor/gears to keep the dust/water out.
