I got the Home Depot Illumé RGB strip working with FastLED and my Arduino Uno!

Very cool! Any tips to pass on to other folks who may try this?

String is WS2811 compatible. 3 LEDs per pixel, so 24 pixels per 8’ string. Wiring is dead easy. Tie ground to Arduino’s ground, data (DI) to Arduino’s data pin, and then attach provided 12V power source’s + line to VCC. I used the wire provided in the kit; red & green are ground, black is +12V, and blue is data.
