I guess the good thing about insulated hot end is you can pretty much point a blower fan in its general direction without affecting temperature being extruded?

Apparently the blowing air has no effect on the nozzle itself :-/ …

Got me some high temp silicone and need to make an insulator ^^

It does affect it a little. We will mount a nozzle to direct the air as best we can.

It’s going to be tricky to to just for the nozzle (how will it stay on there?) …maybe if you do it condom-style (pardon the comparison) and you will pull it over the existing red-sleeved insulation that is already there … :-/

As far as I know the blower is pointed at the heat break just above the transition zone which would cool it really well in one specific area.
