I have 1mm kite dyneema cord for Z are good too..

I have 1mm kite dyneema cord for Z are good too… on “pulley” work but risks to fall inside and lose step… finaly my Z stay completely planar without any more weight possible on 500 version pp cord are good too…dyneema cost 10 euro for one full qr…Vs 6 euro of 100mt of common pp cord real different price but dyneema permit more print quality…as we see @shauki change with black cord we qr’s is a dyneema

Please note: Dyneema cannot work in heathed box. The max. temp are 60-70°C.

Max…sorry but this time have opposit point of view . because gt2 max temp work are 85° and makerbot and other printer used inside box with motor… my round belt ambient work max 65° (people give me used it used near owen at 100° without issue for years)…want try after ask it and on dyneema spec ask it can work for “short” (without time range) at 145°C too… ok is a cord simple to change

Relative to 23°C -60°C +23°C +60°C +100°C
Tensile strength 110% 100% 80% 55%
Tensile modulus 110% 100% 85% 60%
Elongation at break 90% 100% 100% 105%

ok yesterday night no see it on dyneema spec…can work at 100 but lose half of him parametre…i think we can use it in box too… no think we print 40kg of object …

Anan Kite and alpinism cord are must dyneema…because in booth sport no need elastic cord… we find in sport shops.

Other point of attention, dyneema is a “patent” some cord take verification on weight but no pay royalties for have a certification dyneema. Try it by hand  and see if are elastic.
