I have a basic question about slicing.
When layer height defined 0.3 mm and you try to print part with total height 2 mm. How it will be sliced? 7 layers will produce 2.1 mm. So will it be 2.1 mm height after all?

Well, you did answer to your question by yourself. 7 layers produce 2.1mm total height and 6 layers would do 1.8mm so 7 layers are closer to 2mm and slicer will do it so! If you wan’t it to be excactly 2mm, you shuold use 0.2 or 0.25mm layer height and so on.

@Mark_Rehorst That is true! I’m using usually 0.2mm layerheight, so it’s pretty logical to design parts for printing.

@Mark_Rehorst Can you explain about horizontal hole centers. What do you mean? Shell thickness?

@Mark_Rehorst Understood. It’s horizontal holes, so you also should consider layer height.
