I have a DeltaMaker with an AZTEEG X3. I bought a Duet Wifi to try on it as well. Soon I’ll be building my second printer (Voron CoreXY), and I’ll want to try both boards on it as well.
So I’m thinking about making a “standard” (to me, anyway) pinout for a 50 or so pin connector so I can switch boards quickly and with a lower chance of making an error. Maybe I’ll have two connectors, one for the hot end, and one for everything else.
Has anyone else done this or something similar? Is it a great idea or a terrible idea? Does anyone have a recommendation for best (reliable, not huge, not crazy expensive) type of connector?
I want to learn what I can from the hive before I forge ahead…
