I have a generic Chinese made delta printer that every time I turn it on the extruder head crashes into the bed, so far every calibration I have tried has failed. For software I’m using repetier host I’m not sure if the board is flashed with the wrong calibration or what. Any help would be much appreciated.
Help us with more info. Which Chinese made delta printer? Does it have Repetier firmware?
If it does have Repetier firmware, it might have a save option and you might be able to save the settings from the Repetier Host software. I would still save the settings to the SD card from the printer controls though.
Was it prebuilt or did you have to wire it up? That sounds to me like your z axis stepper motor is wired wrong and moving reverse of what it should.
Heh or the firmware is set to move the motors in the wrong direction during the home command.
What was that home command again? He should try it and see if it hits the bed again.
