I have a glass bed installed on my Flash Forge Creator Pro and I was wondering if I need to remove the blue surface that came pre-installed? I bought the glass from Makersome but their instructions did not state if I need to remove it or not.

Also, Flash Forge did send me some extras so I am assuming that they expect these to be replaced at some point in time so it should be removable?

Does the blue surface resemble painters masking tape? I ask this partly because I’d like to be helpful, but it’s also an easy to ensure that I get email notification when someone else posts to the comments.

Some appear to like it, others not so much.

I should have probably used it more. It seems like it would work fine now that I know more. When I first started out, only like two weeks haha, I could not get anything to stick to it, but that was most likely due to bad settings and an unleveled bed.
