I have a MakerBot Rep 2, If you were going to purchase another printer, what would it be and why?

UltiMaker 2; Because https://www.youmagine.com/designs/ultimaker-2-source-files - And LulzBot TAZ for the same reasons. Likely a TAZ because of the gigantic build area.

Another UP Plus 2, my current one is awesome. Fantastic prints every time, check my pics.

Me? I’m very happy with my Replicator 1, since it does ABS, PLA, Nylon, etc., very well. If I needed to replace it, I’d look at FlashForge. DeltaMaker is a very impressive printer, network enabled, Delta bot, with auto-calibration. Their only downside is no heated print bed, so PLA/Nylon only. But given that my printer works fine, I’m looking at CNC mills.
