I have a Marlin delta question. My Kossel Mini is printing well, except that everything is slightly too big. I’m trying to reduce the diagonal rod length using M665 and changing the L parameter, but nothing changes when I print. I have EEPROM enabled and I save it with M500 and can see the changes with M501 but the print comes out the same size. Anyone else seen this? Any idea? I’m thinking of trying Repetier but everything else is already tuned and I don’t feel like starting all that again.

You could try adjusting your steps per mm in your firmware…

Thanks Keith, I was thinking about that at one point and I’ll try it. I’m really curious as to why that M code isn’t doing what I’d expect though.

I’ve never trusted m500 or really seen it as a good way to maintain a printer. Without changing the firmware and uploading it your self you can never be positive of what your running and if anything ever happens and you need to update or reload you won’t know what to change.
