I have a Printrbot Simple Pro with the heated bed option. The current build plate has what I think is PEI on it. I need to change it as it has become very scarred from use. What is the best way to remove it, and is there anything I should be aware of when putting down the PEI?

I believe some companies bake their pei sheets to remove moisture from them, to prevent bubbling.

Removal is a manual effort. Scraping and peeling. Solvents like goo-gone or limonene can help.
