It says it is 500 Watts, but I don’t know. I kind of doubt it. I can’t even get a voltage reading off it when it runs. I haven’t investigated it too closely really. It is quiet. I’ll give it that.
@Mike_Mills1 this is the Chinese “500 Watt” spindle. I was running a router, but it was so noisy. It was so noisy I didn’t even want to use it. It is easy to say ah, the noise won’t bother me, until you start running a machine. Then it can get more difficult to keep saying that.

the platform. The top clamp is it right side up, and the longer piece on the bottom is it upside down. I think it is hilarious. I picked the whole thing up at the dumps to melt in my furnace. But this is a far better use.
