I have a question, my printer is creatbot (ultimaker clone)
Everytime i print a shape that have several 90 degree corner ( see picture) , i will get z wobble effect but none of this shows on less corner turn shape.
This problem started after i left my printer idle for a while, is gt2 belt have a lifetime?
GT2 belts will eventually wear out completely but more likely is that it’s just stretched out and you need to re-tighten it.

Are you saying a round shape doesn’t show z wobble?
You do have four belt clamps and 12 pulleys that might cause grief but I wonder if that’s really the problem. There might really be something wrong with the Z mechanism.
did you try tightening the belt?
Print out a couple belt tensioners from online or buy some on ebay. Doesn’t look like z banding but rather a belt slipping like you said. Getting tension on the belts is probably gonna help you. I had massive problems with my printer as the belts stretched out and by printing the belt tensioner the problem was immediately solved.
this is also a problem is the steps/mm is some weird value. this is always a problem for non-metric screws
