I have a re-occuring problem with my heated bed on my PrintrBot Metal Plus… I have had to resolder one of the wires multiple times has anyone had any luck with re-routing the wiring for their heated bed to provide better strain relief on the wire/solder joint? I will be ordering a replacement heated bed from Printrbot… Looking for a better way to route the wires when I install the new bed
It sounds like the joint is fatiguing. Try to zip tie the bed wire to the bed so motion doesn’t stress the solder joint.
