I have all the parts saved as a .dwg but how do i import parts on inventor fusion to assemble? Also how do i get the item so i can edit it?
@Abc_Def I don’t use fusion, so I can’t really help you. Sorry. I really struggle with the ‘free’ CAD programs, since I am used to the engineering versions of them.
@Joshua_Updyke i am now using inventor pro because thats what i learned. You can get free software if u r a student… Ive been recreating the chassis parts. The whole configuration is going to be different and gonna have to add brakes and a throttle servo and gas tank. This is gonna be a complicated project
@Abc_Def Yeah, I figured it would be quite a big change. Also, I am interested in seeing how well the 3d printed parts hold up to a nitro. But the nice part of 3d printing things is if they break, you can print a new one and maybe iterate the design to make it better.
@Joshua_Updyke it is huge if you have no experience with nitro i suggest u dont try it. If u dont know how to tune you can destroy an engine easily. They are about $200 each
Isn’t that how you learn by trying something and reading a lot. I am less interested in nitro right now because I have a quadcopter and it is also electric. So I can share parts between projects.
