I have an issue using a smoothieboard and external drivers on my OX. It moves very roughly, nothing smooth about it at all. I have the stepper driver set to 1/8 micro stepping. Any ideas of where to start troubleshooting?

Figured it out…I had a short in the wiring…all better now and very smoooooooooth!

@funinthefalls how has Smoothieboard been working out on the OX? I’m using my TinyG but I’d really like to use laserweb for my laser attachment which currently does not support the TinyG.

It is working pretty good, just ironing out the config file settings

Thanks, I maybe upgrading soon. Now I’m contemplating just building a freeburn unit with an 80w Co2 laser and Smoothieboard. Ah if I only had more cash the order would already be in.
