I have been asked by some to post pictures of the unpainted Bridge Worker that I posted recently. I don’t have any to hand, but here is “The Mechanic” that I printed as it comes straight from the printer (Zortrax m200), assembled (15 printed parts).
Awesome! !
what are you using to design these? and do you have any images of it disassembled? truly excellent work.
The characters were.designed by Jose Alvas Da Silva as a commission for Makerbot (Bold Machines) and made available on Thingiverse.
You can find more details and see how they look printed on a makerbot at http://boldmachines.com
@David_Da_Costa that does make me question why all the printers in that photo are the makerbot replicator 2. wow even their own company can’t stand by there product… damn i hate my 5th gen…
I think they are printing them on the Makerbot Z18 which for a $10k printer seems to have a less than stellar reputation
Great work
Fantastic…
These are some of the best prints I’ve ever seen.
David, Do you teach this ? Because I’m new at this.
Not currently, but for what it’s worth you need a good printer ( I have a number and the Zortrax is by far the best) and patience.
Thanks David. If, you have the number great. Yes, I’ll be patience…Teacher ! Thanks again.
David, crazy nice print. Thanks for posting. This fellow Hyrel owner is seriously jealous.
