I have been using Laerweb on my Frankensteined Ruijie Laser for a while now and everything works well.

I run LW4 on a Pi, to Smoothieware and a nice big 100W CO2 tube.

We installed the same setup on a custom CNC machine, and we started running into some problems. The job will sometimes time out. This is a large CNC router machine, and we have some long single GCode cuts, so it could be that the server gives up on waiting for a reply from the board.

How can I change the delay timeout, or disable it completely?
Anyone here did something similar?

Too kind… So nice to know one of the Laseweb guys face to face.

I am testing moving the CNC to grbl 1.1 to see if it is a Smoothieware oops. Took a bit of trial and error, but I think I have the config sorted out, and everything running nicely.

Now I just have to do a dry run before stuffing up another nice piece of 4mm Aluminium plate…
