I have designed a Scarab Beetle Box (with a secret lock). Here is a quick picture of it assembled. All parts 3D printed with no supports. I am getting more and more into using my 3D printers to produce model kits - something I always wanted to do but never thought I would be able to do at home.

I will post more about this model (download links and instructions etc…) as they are complete.

And yes, the gold is painted - I haven’t discovered some super high sheen filament:-)

Wow. That looks fantastic. The Tudor Rose box is already on my “to print” list. I’d better hurry up and print it to make room for this.
