I have the feeling that all sorts of tings are wrong with my printer, but hopefully it will behave anyways. My do-it-yourself delta arms, a warped heated bed, possible tilt in my hotend and an uneven frame are all possibilities here. Hahaha
Oh boy…
The weird thing is, it still prints fine in the middle area. I dunno. Maybe I strayed from the original arm lengths and need to do inner vs outer calibration. At any rate, it is making me a set of 6 rod ends that I will need as spares sooner or later.
Deltas simply require a bit of forethought and planning in order to keep everything 100% straight. That, and grid-based bed leveling.
Yeah…maybe I should upgrade with a touch probe for “scanning” and bed leveling…and fix the frame and heated bed and…hell…replacing the whole thing with a built from scratch might be an idea…
Your bed may be warped, but I’d bet the glass is flat, so that part really shouldn’t affect anything
I have a bowed rather than warped bed, luckily the centre is bowing upwards so I plan to cut an aluminium disc to bolt to unused mount holes to help flatten it and also act as a heat spreader.
@Taylor_Landry
Hmm that might cause a few “cool” spots, but that can be remedied by placing cork (or any other insulator) underneath the heater to push it up flat against the glass…
