I just connected power to this thing. Pro trinket, WS2812B leds, running Color Palette.
It’s just flickering like crazy, when I press the reset on the trinket to stop the program, the colors stay solid, so I don’t think it’s a power issue. My current guess is the data line is shorted with 5v or ground somewhere.
Any input?
Well, I did more testing, and it does not seem to do this with a battery power source and Arduino pro mini. So it’s either going to be power, the trinket, or the program…
Definitely check the grounds. Do the controller and the LEDs share a ground?
