I just did an Android update for my HTC One to Android 4.4
After the update USB OTG connection works great !!! Before the update #GCodeSimulator & Printer could only connect via Bluetooth. USB OTG did not work.
BTW: the photo shows my self designed and printed HTC One dock

Did you update with OTA or some custom ROM, have a link? CM 10.2 has USB-OTG working fine on m7ul.
