I just got a motor to function on a cnc v3 shield. I think i’m going to try to use that controller to direct my mini laser. I’d like to control it from one of my 3d printer gantries using Marlin, but I’m not sure how to set that up, so Im trying to assemble a miniature cnc set up to run the laser.

If you pay attention to this photo you can see there the ULN2001D chip, but at the same time it quietly prints the shades of gray through Chinese software. I do not know how to reproduce this in GRBL. In the absence of LT1121 I will do on ULN2003, which I have. Another output of the laser on the original headscarf is a 96 ohm rezuyu, also leave, possibly in parallel with a potentiometer. Why, by the way, is the cooling in GRBL hanging on the analog pin, and not on the digital one? It’s just turned on or off.

I run my K40 on a CNC V3 shield - running GRBL 1.1f. (same GRBL I run on my A3 2.5W Chinese Diode Laser). Not sure how to integrate it with Marlin…but I’m sure there’s an Mcode burried in marlin to do PWM on one of the pins on the marlin board already. I just got sick of comm problems with my RAMPS w/ Marlin so I ripped it out and went “simple but reliable”.
