I just got the 2.2kw 80mm spindle from Anthony and it turns out it has an ER11 collet on it (he didn’t know and he’s working with me to get in touch with the manufacturer).
Have any of you ever seen this? Does it mean they put the wrong shaft in the wrong body?
That can be spec’d either way chief.
Is it possible to convert an ER11 to an ER20 (even if it means pulling it apart and replacing the shaft)?
Believe there is a split pin you can remove and change the lower section. Also believe it requires the lower bearings to be changed. Worth investigation.
