I just saw dave post. Thats possibly where I am now :). I have got the lights in 9x9 layout as three lights are to one ic. I have gotten the wood and will begin cutting it up soon. I have improved my soldering and used electricity tape instead of heat tube which I don’t have laying around. I have used ardiuno nano as a perferred board as I have these around. Right now comes programming fun or not! Hehe. I realised that colours are displaying differently from the examples. I played around with changing neopixel to ws2811 but I think rgb needs to be reconfigured to grb.
Yep that was the question. Thank you. I will give a try tonight. And other than that do you recommend me to do an example xy matrix that I found in the library and any sample animations to play with. I know there are animations codes on this community.
Im not the droid to talk to about matrices, there are some very experienced people that will be able to give you stellar advice. Good luck with the project.
Hi @Philipp_Horn , because of the 3 pixel per IC in your strip, it is not easy to suggest any existing animation. They will most likely require significant adaptation to make them look reasonable.
However, nothing prevents you from trying any and see how it looks on your assembled strips. Good luck!!
Just did the classification of rgb and it works! And I used the latest library to do xy matrix, check on my profile: Ive posted a short video of it. Next step is to learn about animations and figure out how to use ir or Bluetooth. I have done ir before for simple turn on and off the led blub I suppose the same can be applied to each set of animations.
