I just started printing Taulman Bridge this afternoon, this stuff is really amazing to me as I’ve never printed nylon before. I’m printing at 250C on my E3D v4 and my little calibration piece with minimal retracts came out pretty good. Although it looks pretty mangled now, I’ve really been abusing the piece all evening by twisting around itself and flexing and pulling and such on it. Now I’m chasing after the retract settings to eliminate some blobs on more complex prints.
I use 4mm retraction with good results. E3D v5 @ 250C. It is amazing stuff !
Different to the 618 the Bridge simply will not delaminate… This stuff is as tough as it gets. Does anyone know the glas transition temperature? I would love to make machine parts out of this.
If I recall correctly I think it’s pretty low at around 50c.
