I just took my new LED campfire to Yosemite for a week. It was a huge hit. This thing is really strangely convincing. Little kids kept walking up and putting their hands over it, and then getting this look of bewilderment on their faces. I dropped a nylon bag on top of it at one point and everyone jumped to try and “rescue” it from the flames before coming to their senses – part of our brains were definitely hoodwinked. It lasted 4 nights without needing recharging and absolutely established our camp site as the party hub.
