I just want to give a big shout out to @Roy_Cortes for sending us one of his new Azteeg X5 GT dual extrusion boards. Roy makes some top notch product and hes been a huge help with getting this project off the ground.

I have been running the X5 GT for a while now on my HercuLien. Such a great board. All the IO and drivers I could want, and his BigFoot driver format should become the new standard IMHO. Gives so much more possibilities for high current drivers while keeping them on board versus external. Plus it runs smoothieware which is so great and getting better all the time.

Also @Roy_Cortes is probably one of the nicest guys I have run into in the 3D Printing community. He has always helped me with any questions at any hour… I think he is even more of an insomniac than me (he responds best after midnight

Roy is such an amazing designer and friend. You are going to love the board. Oh and by the way, your industrial cabinet design for the controller makes me drool. You do some professional work!

I can attest to the midnight calls. He really is a great guy. This will be our third board he has sent us. The first one failed for yet to be determined reasons and the second one didnt have terminal blocks. But he got a new board out to us each time and for that we are very grateful.

I must confess that I wasnt the one that built this panel @Eclsnowman . I had an electrical engineer from Iowa fly in and build this. He does really awesome layouts and I am definitely basing my next panel off this when I get my own X5 GT.

That’s a nice wiring ! Awesome

Is this board not available for sale yet? What’s the current and voltage offered on those drivers?
