I know I am just getting started…

Everything appears to work great, except for the extruder. My Extruder body is PLA and it began to melt down. Fell apart again on me. I think the heat is causing everything to loosen up.
I just put a 40mm fan on it and it seems perfect now. I had to set it to 25%. Seemed to create a good balance between cooling down the bed and nozel and keeping the body cool. I will keep you posted!!

Also had problems with layers shifting. I lowered the acceleration by about a 1/3rd and it seems to have gone away.

As long as I continue to figure out the solutions to the issues this will be fun!
It’s the journey, right!

Layers shifting can also be as simple as the smooth rods of x or y axis binding up.

Gotta lube up them smooth rods!

An extruder body made of PLA is a bad idea unless you have a Bowden configuration. If the hot end is anywhere near PLA any structural integrity you have will not last.

I definitely agree, but that is all I could get. I hope to print one for myself in abs soon.
