I know this is only tangentially related, but I am wanting to put together a library of printable key fob plastics. I have only done a really brief search, and couldn’t find models. I am going to start with this. Anyone interested in contributing?
I was just thinking of doing this today. My fob plastic is broken and a replacement shell (just the plastic and the buttons) is $15.
I’ll post it if I ever get around to modeling it. (GM 3-button)
On thingiverse there is a Volvo replacement.
I am running a first test print.
Everytime I think about Catalogging files for particular “things”. I tell myself just to get better at designing and make it.
But I do support your idea!
I just can’t imagine that the key ring loop could be strong enough unless you design something much too bulky! But I salute the effort, too!
