I know this isn’t the standard stuff people are looking for on here, but I figured folks here may have an answer. I’m involved with a project that needs a large quantity (around 300m) of single-color, water proof, christmas-light style LED strings that run off 12V. Can anyone recommend a good supplier for this sort of thing? My usual sources for fancier addressable LEDs don’t seem to carry this stuff, and EBay is always a crapshoot.
I don’t know about 12v, but look for the term “IP68” for fully submersible lights (don’t know if you need actual waterproof, or just weatherproof). Also adding the search term “bullet” gets you to the christmas-light-strand type. There’s a lot of selection on http://alibaba.com.
There are a lot of varieties, size etc… It might would help if you explained what you were trying to do with them…

The “bullet” suggestion got a lot better results. The recommendation from Mike might work, but a “bullet” shaped would work better for this purpose.
Mat - We’re going to be using these as a long border for an art installation which will be powered by a 12V solar system. Really what I want is something along the lines of https://www.1000bulbs.com/category/battery-powered-wide-angle-led-christmas-lights-white-wire/ but run off 12V. The individual leds on it will be stuffed into shotgun shells and hung along a wire fence.
