I love 3d printers you start off with a mess of a printer and slowly straighten it up with better parts

New power jack and mount

Certainly one of the best features of a 3D printer is being able to build new printers or upgrade your existing printer. I can’t wait until we get hobbyists building multi-material printers that can do plastics/ceramics/metals all in one go. =)

Ceramic would be neat, metal would bring a new meaning to our current 3d printers.

You can do metal objects already with a furnace (easy to make with plaster of paris, sand, a large metal can, and a propane torch), and PLA prints. You’ve gotta get a crucible, tongs, and the proper attire though.

Or prove out your model in PLA/ABS and then have Shapeways or someone make it in ceramic/metal for you.

Is that a EMI Filter?

@Derek_Meng Noise filter. I have emi filters I can put on it too. Pulled it out of a 50" plasm TV.
