I love being able to make custom brackets and housings with my 3D printer!
I printed brackets to hold cheap LED strip ($10 for 5m) inside my gun safe. Then, I printed a housing to wedge under the safe’s door frame. The housing holds a microswitch at just the right height, and has a spot for a jack for a surplus power supply I had.
Now, the LED lights come on when I open the door!
What kind of a 3D printer did you use?
