I love my Up Plus 2, the results speak for themselves…

I used my Up Plus 2 (3D printer) to make a replacement part for my broken Rockfish noise-cancelling headphones. I wrote a lengthy blog post documenting the steps I went through to make an awesome repair part. It includes plenty of photos of the progress and results as well as links to the SketchUp design files and the STL for printing.
Someday I’ll have the spare time (and money) to build one. We have a ton here at our local Hackerspace. My focus has been Quads when I’m not working on hacking up my motorcycles. Can only afford 1/4 of a hobby right now. I trade Mac stuff for my buddy to print parts for my motorcycle for me. Designed a few plugs for the engine so I could clean it while rebuilding. Work great!
