I’m trying to figure the easiest way to mill the counterbore holes for the 80/20 anchor fasteners in my 3030 rails. The cutter for the counterbore is 13:16”. When I purchased the endmill, it had a 3/4” diameter shank and I don’t have access to a spindle with a 3/4” collet. Can someone tell me the easiest way to cut those counterbore holes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Bring it over I have a 3/4" collet. What do you want anyone to say? If you need tools you have to get them. Or you have to find someone that does have them. Or you have to get very creative. If I was really desperate I might put a collar on a router and use a template, or something. Do some adaptive boring by hand.
Yeah a cnc bigger than the one you are building is always handy! Lol
Okay, thanks. That was what I was looking for, a few ideas.
@Paul_Shaw manual milling machines are handy to have too. That’s what I have.
