I made a short video of my current set-up for printing PLA on glass. Hope some of you will find it useful.

Is there a particular brand of PVA glue that you recommend?
How much do you dilute the pva glue?
Just cheap general purpose PVA glue for decorating, paper craft, anything like that.
Dilute 1 part glue to 9 parts water, mix well and keep in a plastic bottle. I pour about a teaspoonful onto cold glass, use a sheet of paper kitchen roll to spread it evenly and then pop the glass back on the bed to dry.

Thanks Richard. I will give it a go. With the PVA glue for PLA and ABS juice for ABS, I can finally have an easy life with a few interchangeable glass beds.
The glue will be dry by the time the bed reaches working temperature, less than a minute on my printer. PVA glue only works for PLA. For ABS, I use very dilute ABS juice (ABS dissolved in acetone).
ABS juice straight onto glass works fine. One word of warning though: unlike PVA glue for PLA, you can’t just pop it in water to free the parts. Eventually the glass surface will fail and a flake of glass will pull off, stuck to the bottom of the print. Unpredictable and annoying because it’s very difficult to remove from the print and you have replace the glass. I’m using Sorli mirror tiles from IKEA (cheap, disposable and Mendel-sized) and I’m now on my 4th one. Using borosilicate glass or tape over the glass might be ways of preventing the flake fractures.
