I made an emergency stop for my PrintrBot Simple, but I use it as an on/off switch. Power supply plugs into box, cord from box plugs into PB-S.
It could be handy if something mechanical goes bad. Although, nothing’s going to cool down that hot end quickly, and that’s the real dangerous part.
And what project doesn’t need a giant red button.

I made the exact same thing. Looks great. Haven’t needed to use it yet.
The big red button is cool but whats really cool is i have that exact same fan, only i made a speed control for mine cuz it rattles so much.
