I made my first mill job last night. I ran into some trouble changing feedrates in Chillipeppr. I documented it with another video. I updated my webpage talking about what workflow I ended up using. I’d appreciate any feedback anyone has to give.

Hey Adam, just watched the video. It’s cool to see how other folks interact with ChiliPeppr. Ok, so I just fixed an issue for you and it’s published already. When you type in the feedrate box it will immediately update now. Previously you had to hit the “Feedrate X” button which was just not intuitive. Second, the simulator does not take into account feedrates. Sorry. That simulator only shows toolpath (and even then it still is lazy on G2/G3’s). That’ll get fixed soon.
Very good review. Make sure you mention those issues you have to the chilipeppr community here on google +. They are very conducive to new ideas.
Also, you can go into the Options for the Gcode widget and have the play/pause/stop also trigger actual feedhold/resume/wipe which was a comment you made in the video. This was left as an optional configuration for the user, but may eventually become the default setting.
