I made this about 9 months ago, finally got a video of it done. Using Fastled and teensy 3.1 to drive 2008 LPD8806 leds. I also used max485 dmx receiver and the teensy audio board to do the audio interactivity.
Might get around to putting up my eagle schematics soon if you’re interested.

Im always interested in Eagle schematics - even if I don’t use them, I learn off them.
Would be interested as well as I’d eventually like to start using DMX.

Maybe. I lost all my photos of the build process with my destroyed phone. So the best I can really do is the schematics and code (need to clean it up), but we had a builder making it all structurally sound, and we came up with a neat system to add the diffusing strips between the layers.
So… maybe. Instructable incoming of a laser harp I made though, I’ll do that first.
