I need some assistance. What printed parts do I need for the servo to connect to the steering?
Even though I couldn’t steer, I was running it up and down the hallway. It’s now 2WD instead of 4WD. What % of infill do you recommend I print the Axle shaft in for the central differential?
I can see myself having a ton of fun with this 3D Printed RC Car. Thank you @Daniel_Noree for sharing this with everyone.
@bcrazycramer I don’t remember the name, I think it’s something like “steering pin” or similar, I’ll check when Im at the computer next time.
The axle shift needs to be printed with 100% infill and you also need to glue the “axle shift cover” on it once the diff is assembled or the axle shift will break.
Thanks. I think its called Steering Part 3. Does the tab part go up?
There is a z bend piece that I just bolted onto the servo and then used a ball stud on the servo saver and snapped the z bend part onto the ball stud. I posted some pictures of my son and I putting it together and towards the end aresome pictures of the assembled druggy a nd one of them shoes how I did it. (Not saying I did it right lol)
Thanks @John_Seaton . I forgot about those parts that came with the servo. I will give it a whirl and see what I can do.
