I need some touchscreen help.
It is my understanding that I should be able to plug the tx and rx of a MKS28 touch screen into the appropriate locations on a ramps board and have it work. However in my case it doesn’t work that way. Is there a setting in Marlin to turn on a second serial port that I need to change? I am currently running 1.1.6

This may be obvious but catches a surprising number of people: make sure tx on one board hooks to rx on the other board.

I have also heard of the TX and RX being swapped on some boards.
