I needed my mentor @Whosa_whatsis by my side so I printed him hollow @ .15mm layer height on their Bukobot Mini. Model is a scan from @Fred_Kahl and the final height is about 160mm.
Everyone should have their own whosawhatsis at hand. We should all start using him as our good luck test print…
Also, bonus info, I hacked the gcode a bit by rendering two versions. One with infill at 30% and another at zero. I swapped the first 14 layers or so with the infill version to insure it had a flat base.
To do this yourself, just open the gcode as a text file in notepad. Search the layer height you want to swap to/from by multiplying your layer height by the layer number (so 14*.15 would be “Z2.1” in this case.) Copy paste what you want to swap and done.
I assume you will use that enormous quiff as a place to hang your keys?
