I posted the other day that I had given up on the E3D Titan due to it stripping/grinding the filament, however after a closer inspection I can see that the hobbed section doesn’t match the hobbed section on a friend of mine Titan.
Talk to E3D directly - since the Titan is a new product, they may still be working through some quality control issues
This is my second Titan but for a different issue, so I’ve had one replacement already.
Yup, there was a tooling issue. This can likely be solved with a swap of the gear - contact E3D to check.
It does look like a bad milling job. Full disclosure: I don’t have a 3D printer, just 15 years in QA.
