I printed X carriage parts for my printer and i jammed the smooth rod

I printed X carriage parts for my printer and i jammed the smooth rod into one of them and now theyre stuck halfway. I cant push them in and they wont come out. Any suggestions on how to remove it without damaging the part or the rod?

Hammer a screwdriver from the opposite side and that should work.

Use a metal that is softer like a brass punch, this will not damage the rod.

wrap some rubber around (like bicycle tube) and grip that with pliers

all of this is good, but first put a small amount of washing up liquid on the rod to act as a lubricant for when the part starts to move, will make it loads easier to get it off the rest of it.

Heat the printed part with a hot air gun you can always print another one.

What material did you print with? Depending on material, you might be able to heat up the rod and then pull it out once it has heated the printed part a bit.

Ok we need a picture it is killing me to know what it looks like… Keep getting a mental picture of a horse stuck in a well!
