I received my Smoothieboard in the mail but I am still waiting on my frame from Orballo to arrive.I have been using and RPI 3 running octoprint and I was wondering if I should use a filament sensor on my new build?I am new to all of this and not very well versed in how everything works together.I have read a few threads regarding using a filament runout sensor with Octoprint and most threads caim that it needs to be wired directlt to the Raspberry but most main boards like a Smoothis have te ability to control a filament sensor.I wanted to ask why it would need to be wired to the Raspberry directly,I am guessing that the Raspberry is slow to respond pausing the printer and that is why it needs to be wired directly instead of through the Smoothie.Would anyone mind explaining this to me or maybe giving me some recommendations on how I should do it?Thanks
