I recently started using this copper inserts on certain parts of the truggy that I need to remove often. (top plate e.a.) At the moment I just drill the holes with 3.2mm drill, heat the insert and press them in. I gues you could also drill slightly larger and use ca glue. Now I have a nice positive feel when the screw thightens.
I got them on ebay, 10 for about € 1,-

Google “PEM inserts for plastic” I use a soldering iron to heat them up and push then in.
